Year One Teaching Team

Led by Miss Redhead (Assistant Head/Key Stage Lead) our Year One team consists of:

Miss Ahmed (Nightingale Class)
Miss Clamp (Churchill Class)

Miss James & Miss Manser (Year One Teaching Assistants)

Our Team Leader

Miss Redhead

Miss Clamp (Class Teacher)

Miss Clamp has worked at Lord Street since September 2019 and has recently taken upon the role of subject leader for Design and Technology in the school.

“After running a social media marketing business for 5 years I decided that I wanted a more rewarding career, so decided to train to become a teacher. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made!”

Miss James (Teaching Assistant)

I love children & its always been my dream to work in a school. After completing my Diploma in Childcare I worked in pre-school nurseries for 13 years before joining the Lord Street team in 2013. I love helping the children grow in confidence and learn new skills and seeing the progress they make throughout the school year. No two days are the same when working with young children so it’s always exciting.

Miss Manser (Teaching Assistant)

Hello, I am Miss Manser and I am a teaching assistant at Lord Street School. I have worked at Lord Street for over 30 years. I really enjoy my job and feel blessed that I have worked with so many wonderful children. I spent most of my time working in the foundation unit but I have recently moved to work with the Year One children. I enjoy all aspects of my role in school and really love my career.
